A GAMBIAN YOUNG MAN WITH DOZEN OTHERS FOUND DEAD WHILE LOCKED UP IN A COLD STORE IN LIBYA

In the spirit of Gambianism, we send our condolences to the family of Jukung Jaiteh, a native of Basse Santasu whose parents moved to the greater Banjul Area where he lived until recently when he embarked on the back way to Italy.

Junkung and 25 other immigrants were found dead in Libya 2 weeks ago. According to an online newspaper, Junkung and his fellow migrants were locked up by their libyan traffickers in a cold store in Libya where they were found dead. He is the son of Mr Samboujang Jaiteh and Mrs Karafa Keita natives of Basse who resettled in Bundungkakunda.

According to the newspaper, Junking was raised by his "Toma" Junkung Keita of Bundung. Both Junkung and his colleagues were buried in Libya. May their souls rest in peace.
