In what could be described a big plus for the country's entertainment
industry, a Gambian DJ has been reported in the Swedish media where he
hosts one of the biggest and popular reggae dancehall show on the
Swedish national radio called P3.
DJ Lamin Daniel Jadama aka Nougie Jad has now become a big star in
Sweden and other countries where he continues to attract a lot of fans
among the reggae enthusiastsin that part of the world. He is the latest
Gambian disk jockey to be discovered in in that part of the world
despite discoveries of other hottest DJ's in Europe and USA. In his P3
how on the Swedish national radio, DJ Nougie as commonly called
features all kinds of latest tunes from dancehall-reggae to other
African vibes, as well Gambian tunes. This according to report quickly
shot him to stardom especially among the African expatriate out there.
According to report reaching What's On, DJ Nougie Jad, features
sprouting Gambian stars like of Singateh aka Freaky Joe, Mediator,
Rebellion D' Recaller to create avenue for Swedish reggae fans to get
familiar to Gambian stars. However, the renowned DJ cum artist has
earlier on released tunes in Gambia under the name Jadman that has been
a hit tunes in the country as it was aired on Gambian Radio and
Television Service, City Limits and FM-B as well. Born in Brikama, DJ Nougie Jad has recorded and performed in
different ceremonies with his fellow artists e pecially the Inspired
Ones artists likes Mediator among others. Since he moved to Sweden, the
renowned DJ had been actively involved in Swedish hip-hop and reggae
scene where had make a lot of impact and among the local fans there.
This show according to him, is aired all over Sweden, Denmark, Norway,
